This is a classic tuna sandwich recipe that can't be off your summer snacks! It is practical and full of flavour, increased even more by the parmesan cheese that fits perfectly with the creamy delicious sauce. If covered tightly, it can be refrigerated for two days and be a quick solution for your afternoon snack.

Yields: Makes 4 to 6 Servings

Ingredients


12 oz chunk Tuna, well-drained 

1 red bell pepper, chopped 

3 green onions, finely sliced 

1 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese 

½ cup Mayonnaise 

2 tbsp Sour Cream 

2 tbsp Dijon mustard 

1 tbsp Lemon juice 

1 tsp dried Basil leaves 

Sandwich bread 

Dash Pepper


Method of Preparation Parmesan Tuna Sandwiches 

1. To start with, combine tuna, bell pepper, and green onions in a medium bowl. 

2. In another bowl make the creamy sauce, combine cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, lemon juice, and basil leaves and blend well. 

3. Mix the solid ingredients with the creamy sauce.

4. Spread the mixture over the bread slices and serve.
