Tuna Rolls with Peanut Sauce Recipe - bhaarat recipe


Want an exotic taste entrée for your guests? Try this spicy and fresh vegetables mix with tuna, it will turn your reception into a delightful experience, the rice paper will hold all the flavour together and you can serve it with peanut sauce for a taste of Thailand.


Yields: Makes 4 Rolls



Ingredients:


6 oz can of light tuna, well-drained


16 x 8 inch Rice Wrappers


8 leaves Lettuce


⅓ cup Hoisin Sauce


2 cups Carrot, grated


½ cup fresh Coriander, chopped


½ cup green Onion, chopped


½ cup roasted Peanuts, chopped


1 Jalapeno pepper, minced


1 cup Thai peanut sauce


Method of Preparation Tuna Rolls with Peanut Sauce



1. First, soft the rice paper wrappers by putting them into the water, one at a time (about a few seconds each).


2. On a damp tea towel, place a single layer and fold the wrappers in half.


3. Cover the wrapper with lettuce, keeping the leaf about ½ inch over the top of the straight folded edge.


4. Spread about 1 tsp of the hoisin sauce over the lettuce leaf.


5. Distribute tuna, peanuts, carrot, green onion, coriander, and jalapeno pepper among the wrappers.


6. Drizzle a little peanut sauce over each wrap.


7. Fold 1 inch of the edge of the wrapper and then you can roll it around the filling.


8. Repeat this process with the remaining wrappers.


9. Serve with more of the peanut dipping sauce if you wish. 10. You can refrigerate for up to 6 hours but cover a damp paper towel.
